Objective

Energy supply during exercise. Our gel provides an optimal intake of 30 g of carbohydrates (a mixture of glucose and fructose): the essential fuel for maintaining your energy levels during endurance exercise.

During exercise

Consume 1 gel (52 g) every 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the intensity of the exercise. You can consume up to 2 gels per hour of exercise for a strategy of 60 g/h of carbohydrates. This gel can also be combined with a Long Distance Nutripure energy drink (30 g or 60 g) or even with Long Distance Nutripure energy bars (30 g).

Depending on individual nutritional strategies and habits, this gel can be taken just before a long session to quickly and effectively provide the body with energy before you start. It can therefore be considered an alternative to pre-exercise drinks.

When to prioritise this format

Thanks to its thick, gel-like texture, the gel requires no chewing and is easy to digest, even during intense exercise. Its neutral flavour prevents it from being too cloying and allows for repeated consumption without sensory overload. It can be used on its own or to complement other formats (bars, drinks) as part of a comprehensive nutritional strategy.

Try it in real-world conditions

Before a major race, try the gel during training under similar conditions (duration, heat, intensity) to ensure it is well tolerated by your digestive system. Start with 1 to 2 gels on a long run, without combining them with other sources of carbohydrates, to assess how well they fit in with your personal strategy.
